The Arínzano wine cellar was designed by the architect Rafael Moneo, winner of the prestigious Pritzker Prize and whose works include the enlargement of the Prado Museum, Los Angeles Cathedral, and the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm.
The wine cellar wraps around the three main buildings: the 16th century “Torre Cabo de Armerías”, the 18th century “La Casona”, turned into an habitable space and the neoclassical Church, built in the early 19th century, and dedicated to San Martín de Tours.
The winery captures the philosophy of the property, integrated into the landscape as a new natural element and built with environmentally respectful materials. The interior combines the latest technology with a handcrafted treatment. Grapes follow an organic flow throughout the winery that guarantees delicate treatment and a precise control throughout the whole winemaking process.
