Arínzano

Sancho Fortuñones de Arínzano, also as “Señorío de Arínzano”, was the first owner of this unique land around 1055. He received it from King García de Nájera due to his unconditional support in local wars. This land, with 128 hectares of vineyards under the Vino de Pago appellation, was already recognized back in those days as an exceptional terroir for extraordinary wines.

Propiedad de Arínzano, the oldest wine property in Spain, since 1055.
